The orientation for undergraduate exchange students included course registration, introduction of practical information and campus exploration. 57 exchange students from 16 countries participated in the undergraduate session with their SEM buddies. The exchange students activated their accounts and registered for courses. Then staff from SEM International Office and Academic Affairs Office made an introduction of Tsinghua SEM’s exchange programs, shared information about visa, on-campus dorm information as well as the academic regulations. After that, representatives from the Student Union introduced student clubs and activities to be held in this semester. At the end of orientation, the exchange students took a tour around the campus together with their SEM buddies.
