The undergraduate education at Tsinghua SEM aims to “make each student a fully developed modern person while also create an environment that promotes top talents”.  To achieve this goal, Tsinghua SEM follows an approach that integrates “general education” with “individual development”.  In practice, the School pursues a “three-in-one” education package in terms of value formation, capability development and knowledge impartment.  Over the years, the School developed several general education core courses and a three-track honors program and put special emphasis on the development in critical thinking capability. The School’s achievement in education reform is now recognized by the students, the University and the society.
