IMBA student Russ Wee Teck Neu (Class of 2014), helped organize a study trip on March 23rd toSmart Garments, which is a major producer of men’s suits and apparel in Beijing. Ms. Dorothy Seet Poh Kim, the founder of Smart Garments, hosted the trip in person. Dorothy gave a brief introduction of the company and showed students around the factory. The students particularly appreciated the Q&A session and asked crucial questions about the textile industry/entrepreneurship in China. Dorothy answered each question with down to earth experience. Prof. Steven White was also invited to the trip and shared his professional suggestions on Smart Garments’ future with the students.
