2013 Spring SEM Career Fair was held by Career Development Center (CDC) of SEM at Shunde Building on March 28th, 2013. CDC hosts two annual career fairs in fall and spring per year. The spring fair primarily provides internship opportunities while the fall one targets full-time job positions. By far most of the SEM graduating students have received satisfying job offers. CDC will keep working hard to facilitate the students’ job hunting, enhance communications between the students and organizations, and set up various events such as career panels, networking, company visits, and online job fairs. Moreover, CDC realizes the needs of international students and works with other offices in SEM such as iMBA program to assist the students’ placement. CDC staff keeps searching any interest of hiring international students, no matter what kind of companies including local and international ones in China. Besides certain events in English for international students like Self-Promotion through Linkedin, CDC staff tries to arrange one-on-one consulting with all the international students and help them identify career interests that fit their background.
