Ufida Software signed an agreement with Tsinghua SEM, offering to initiate an MBA scholarship.

Applicants to the scholarship should be MBA students in the second year. Each of the three final winners of the scholarship will be awarded 10,000 RMB for their outstanding performance. The selection is made on annual basis, and the scholarship scheme has a total time span of five years.

Professor GAO Jian, Assistant Dean of SEM, and ZHENG Yulin, Senior Vice President of Ufida, signed the agreement, according to which, the two parties are also expected to collaborate in terms of course development, open class activities and recruitment.

There was an awarding ceremony of the 2010 Ufida scholarship afterwards. Three MBA students, YANG Xiaomei, SU Kui and LIU Jin were awarded the first Ufida MBA scholarship.

On the ceremony, Associate Dean of SEM Professor ZHAO Dongqing stressed the importance of college-business collaboration. ZHENG Yulin said, Ufida is glad to support the development of MBA Programs at SEM. He encouraged students to learn more about innovative local enterprises like Ufida, and to join businesses as such after graduation.
