On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, HU Jintao, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission, met with sixteen entrepreneur representatives from strategic new industries, including three Tsinghua SEM alumni.

The three alumni are RAO Luhua, Chairman of Shenzhen Clou Electronics Co. Ltd., XU Yusuo, Chairman of Shenzhen Yuanwanggu Info Tech Co. Ltd., XIE Yuehui, Chairman of Lifetech Scientific (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd..

During the meetings, President HU Jintao listened to alumni’s briefings about the products, projects, and relevant solutions of each enterprise, paying special attention to issues such as new energy products, the life of eco-migrants, and the healthcare schemes, especially children healthcare solutions.

A graduate from the Department of Water Conservancy Engineering of Tsinghua University, President HU Jintao gave professional responses after hearing about the working mechanism of Shenzhen Clou Electronics’ wind energy converter, impressing RAO Luhua deeply.

“I was highly excited, quite nervous, but the President was very amiable. He shook hands three times with me. It was like in a dream,” said XU Yusuo. President HU questioned carefully, said XIE Yuehui, which made him fully aware of the corporate social responsibility of medical device companies like Lifetech.
