One of the three members of The International University Consortium for Executive Education (UNICON) on the Chinese mainland, SEM will be the host of the 2011 UNICON Directors’ Conference.
UNICON is an organization of leading business schools with a commitment to management, executive education and development. Initiated in 1972 and now highly influential in the executive education arena, it now has 96 members school around the globe. Its three member schools on the Chinese mainland are Tsinghua SEM, China-Europe International Business School and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.
Once every two years, UNICON has its directors’ conference held outside the U.S., and the conference at SEM will be the second UNICON conference held in China since ten years ago.
At the UNICON 2010 Team Development Conference
The Executive Education at SEM reported about the proposed theme, contents and relevant plans of the 2011 directors’ conference on the “UNICON 2010 Team Development Conference” hosted by the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. An introductory video clip made for the 2011 directors’ conference was shown to the audience and the theme of “East Meets West: Develop Local Talent with Global Perspective” was approved by the UNICON Board.
The 2011 directors’ conference is expected to be hosted during the 100th anniversary of Tsinghua University.
