As part of the tradition of MBA orientation, the MBA Program held a Charity Day on September 11, 2010.

SEM has always been stressing the social responsibility of enterprises. The Charity Day event aims to encourage new students to concern social welfare, and combine business endeavors with public awareness in the future.

2010 MBA students on the way to sales sites

On the 2010 Charity Day, over 400 new MBA students set out ten charity sales sites in and near Tsinghua campus, soliciting donations for elementary schools in the Xihaigu region of Ningxia.

During the event, students collected “charity signatures” and sold charity goods, calling for more attention on the conditions of Xihaigu.

At the end of the day 30,000 RMB was collected. All donations will be delivered to the Little Angels Action Fund of China Youth Development Foundation.
