The Managementmagazine continues to investigate China’s best MBA programs in 2010. Tsinghua SEM’s MBA program was ranked No.1 consecutively for the fourth time.

Three previous rankings were announced in 2004, 2006 and 2008 respectively. In 2010, the investigation covered 60 business schools in China, including the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, China Europe International Business School, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and the School of Management of Fudan University.

The Managementranking is based on a complete study of MBA graduates, employers and business schools, measuring the programs’ faculty strength, education management, career services, graduate satisfaction and salary, as well as employers’ judgment of MBA students’ ability and working ethics. The magazine entrusts a third party investigator to distribute questionnaires and conduct telephone interviews. During the research, questionnaires were sent not only to students, but also to over 100,000 senior business managers and human resources staff.

Though an all-year no.1 Management MBA program, Tsinghua SEM always tries to improve its MBA education and stay in the lead. The School launched an MBA curriculum in fall 2009. The new program design aims to cultivate future leader with comprehensive management capabilities, bringing in more “soft skill” courses such as Managerial Thinking and Communications, Ethics and Corporate Accountability. It also stresses hands-on practice, allowing students to apply theoretical learning in integrative practical projects. This brand new curriculum is welcomed by SEM students.
