JIANG Jianqing, Chairman of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), is invited to be an Adjunct Professor in SEM.

Professor CHEN Xu, Vice President of Tsinghua University, conferred the letter of professorship to JIANG Jianqing on the ceremony. Professor QIAN Yingyi, Dean of SEM and an Independent Director of ICBC, made an introduction to JIANG Jianqing’s work experience and ideas, calling him “a highly influential banker.”

After the ceremony, JIANG Jianqing made a speech dealing with the ongoing international financial regulatory reform.

In the speech, JIANG Jianping introduced the background and basics of the reform, and suggested a proper attitude of China. Then he continued to analyze the reform in detail, and closed the speech with an observation of Chinese financial industry’s future development in the post-crisis era.
