The 2010 Academy of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (AIE) conference took place at SEM. This year’s event is the third of AIE annual conferences.
The conference has received over 300 papers. It drew together more than 80 scholars in the field of innovation studies from all over the world.
The AIE conference was co-held by SEM, the National Entrepreneurship Research Center and the Research Center for Technological Innovation of Tsinghua University, and the Sanjaya Lall Programme on Technology and Management for Developmentat the University of Oxford.
Keynote speakers at this year’s AIE conference include Alan Hughes, Margaret Thatcher Professor of Enterprise Studies at the Cambridge Judge Business School, and Shaker Zahra, Robert E. Buuck Chair of Entrepreneurship and Professor of Strategy and Organization in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
There have been fourteen reports of the conference. Over 70 theses were presented.
The conference published a collection of 60 papers selected from a pool of nearly 200 candidate theses. They deal with topics in a variety of national backgrounds and industries with diversified research methods.
