A career development forum was held at SEM as part of the MBA orientation events.
Present at the forum were Professor CHEN Zhangwu of the Department of Economics, Professor GAO Xudong, Director of the MBA Program, as well as a number of leading entrepreneurs from a range of companies, including Yadu, Lotus, and Vtion. More than 250 MBA students participated in the event.
The forum was hosted by Professor QU Qing of the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Behavior.

Professor GAO Xudong talked on the forum on behalf of the MBA Program. He encouraged 2010 MBA students to communicate with alumni and supervisors about their career development.
Professor CHEN Zhangwu said, China has seen a sharp rich-poor division along with its economic development.”It requires a balance between efficiency and equality to tackle the problem immediately.” The professor wishes students could learn to become top level managers with full awareness of above-mentioned balance.

Five guest entrepreneurs also shared their experience and wisdom with participating students.
After the forum, there was also a roundtable discussion. The faculty members and entrepreneurs exchanged ideas with students about the development path of MBA graduates.
