The Alumni Mentorship Program (AMP) launched a series of “The Way of Excellence” operation and management modules on May 10, 2010.

Present at the launching meeting were Professor GAO Xudong, Director of the MBA Program, Professor SUN Jing of the Department of Management Science and Engineering, MBA alumnus CAI Zhenyu, President of International Society of Six Sigma Professionals (ISSSP, Greater China), alumnus YANG Nianfeng, Operation Optimization Director of Reuters China, and AMP mentor YANG Chenglu, President of 6 Sigma Breakthrough Technologies (Greater China).

The modules were initiated by SEM MBA Program and ISSSP, and hosted by the AMP. It is composed of seven modules that lecture on theories and practices of operative management. ISSSP will also provide visiting and placement opportunities for participants who have attended all courses and submitted the final thesis.

The generous contribution from alumni has always been a distinctive feature of the MBA Program, said Professor GAO Xudong.

After the launching ceremony, YANG Chenglu delivered the first lecture of the module series. More than 100 MBA students have registered for the modules.
