The Center for Enterprise Growth and National Economic Security Research (CEGESR) was established at Tsinghua University by the School of Economics and Management, the Department of Engineering Physics and the School of Public Policy and Management.

The Center is a cross-disciplinary research institute. It aims to explore, as well as bridge, national security theories based on the maximization of public interests and enterprise growth studies rooted in broadly defined innovation.

Professor CHENG Jianping, Vice President of Tsinghua University, served as the Director of the Management Committee of the Center, and Professor LEI Jiasu of SEM is selected as the Director of the Center.

Fifteen professors from the three schools and department have been participating in the founding of the Center with the help from scholars in related governmental departments.

The Center now seeks partnership with other institutions, corporations and organizations.
