On the afternoon of April 30, 2010, a Tsinghua EMBA Management Forum was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. Over 500 governmental officials and local entrepreneurs were present at the meeting.

The event was co-held by Anhui State-owned Asset Supervision and Management Association, Anhui Federation of Industry and Commerce, Anhui Association of Scientists and Entrepreneurs, and was undertaken by Tsinghua EMBA Anhui Alumni Association.

XU Jingren, President of Anhui Association of Scientists and Entrepreneurs, delivered a speech at the forum, so did Professor LIAO Li, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SEM and Director of the EMBA Program. GUI Jianping, Director General of Anhui State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and SHAO Guohe, Assistant Governor of Anhui Province also attended the event.

Professor LI Daokui, Chair of SEM's Finance Department, a member of the Central Bank Monetary Policy Committee, gave a speech themed "Accelerating the Transformation of the Economic Development Mode, Building Wanjiang Economic Zone," which mainly dealt with macroeconomic trends, regional economic prospective, new industrial growth point and investment opportunities. After the speech, Professor LI Daokui also held an in-depth discussion with local entrepreneurs.

This is the second EMBA professor management forum held in Hefei.
