The second innovation and entrepreneurship seminar among Tsinghua doctoral students from mainland and Taiwan was held at Taiwan Xinzhu Tsinghua University on May 4.

Over 30 people participated in the discussion. Among participants, a majority of doctoral students were from SEM’s Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Ten doctoral students presented their thesis in English on the seminar, topics covering a range of heated issues concerning innovation and entrepreneurship.

The seminar, according to participant students from both sides, is a channel of communication that allows each side to know the other’s academic results, providing a platform for mutual learning and improvement.

The third innovation and entrepreneurship seminar across the strait is expected to be held in April 2011, only one week before the centenary celebration of Tsinghua University.
