MA Weihua, Executive Director and President of China Merchant Bank (CMB), a Special-Term Professor of Tsinghua SEM, was invited to be head teacher of 2009 MBA Entrepreneur Class. The appointment ceremony was held in SEM on March 25, 2010.

On the ceremony, Dean QIAN Yingyi presented the letter of appointment to MA Weihua., who also received a gift from Professor GAO Xudong, Director of the MBA Program.

MA Weihua then delivered a speech named “Understanding Wall Street.” He discussed the monetary policies of American government in the 2008 crisis, changes in the competition environment of commercial banks, developmental strategies of CMB as well as opportunities for Chinese banks in the post-crisis era.

After the speech, MA Weihua participated in a discussion session with students in the MBA Entrepreneur Class, sharing his personal life experience and reflections.
