On March 28, 2010, the Opening Ceremony of the second 10,000 Women Entrepreneurship Track Program for Chinese Women was held at Tsinghua SEM. 48 females with various industrial background were selected to join the Program.
Among the participants admitted, there are 46% college degree owners, 44% bachelor degree owners and 10% with a master’s degree. The average age is 34. They have started their business in a range of areas, including education, information service, agriculture, media, arts and crafts, clothing, entertainment, processing manufacturing and consulting.
On the Opening Ceremony, Director of Tsinghua SEM’s Executive Development Program Professor XUE Lei said, the Program adopted many innovative measures in the way of teaching and curriculum design. He suggested students make full use of the opportunity to boost their management skills.
After the ceremony, Professor Oliver Gottschalg from HEC Paris delivered the first lecture of the Program.
