The Career Development Center (CDC) of Tsinghua SEM held an intern recruitment fair at the School on the afternoon of April 15, 2010.

Present at the fair were more than ten employer companies and SEM students graduating in 2011.

Employers were selected and invited by CDC from all applicants signed up for the event. They are from various sectors of high appeals to SEM students, including investment, financial funding, consulting, trade, as well as industrial automation.

According to an informal survey, about 200 undergraduates, graduates and MBA students participated in this fair, submitted their resumes, and conducted face to face communication with employers.

In recent years, intern experience is increasingly valued in job hunting upon graduation. Students no longer treat intern opportunities as a compulsory requirement from the school, but also see it as a necessary professional practice on their own part.

In this semester, CDC will continue to assist students in finding summer placements in addition to providing support for graduates.
