GAO Jingrong, a Tsinghua SEM alumnus working in IBM China Research Lab, was among the list of “2009 IBM Outstanding Contribution Award of Greater China Region” winners. The list was announced by QIAN Daqun, Chairman and CEO ofIBMGreater China Region.

GAO Jingrong attained her Master’s Degree in Management under the supervision of Professor YANG Delin in the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She studied in Tsinghua SEM from September 2002 to June 2005.

The Outstanding Contribution Award is set to encourage employees and teams making distinctive efforts to boost the brand image of IBM. Less than 1% employers in the Greater China Region are selected for the award, judging by whether their performance has met four criteria below: “significant business contribution,” “create new value or growth,” “enhance IBM brand leadership” and “strong team work.”
