Tsinghua SEM has welcomed nearly 200 new students to its post-graduate program for academic degrees this semester. The welcome session was held on September 5 at the International Hall of Weilun Building, attended by Dean of Tsinghua SEM Qian Yingyi, Associate Dean Yang Bin, Associate Dean Chen Guoqing, Associate Dean Xia Donglin, Associate Dean Zhu Yan, Associate Dean Zhao Dongqing and Assistant Dean Gao Jian. Associate Dean Bai Chong-en presided over the session.

Tsinghua University has registered 4,712 new graduate students this year. On the morning of the day, the University’s President Gu Binglin, together with other university officials, have presided over a welcoming ceremony for all the 2009's new graduate students of Tsinghua.
