A delegation led by Mr. Sukanta Tanudjaja (陈大江), a well-known leader of overseas Chinese in Indonesia has visited Tsinghua SEM on April 17, 2009. Qian Yingyi, Dean of Tsinghua SEM and Xue Lei, Director of Executive Development Center met with the visiting guests from Indonesia.

During the talks, Mr. Sukanta Tanudjaja spoke highly of Professor Weijie's lectures in Indonesia at the end of this March, saying he hoped to see more cooperation between Tsinghua SEM and Indonesian companies. Dean Qian Yingyi said the School also expected more cooperation with companies in Southeast Asia especially in Indonesia in fields of management training and case study.

During their stay, the delegation visited the old campus of Tsinghua.

Mr. Sukanta Tanudjaja, who has made tremendous contributions to the development of Sino-China relations, currently serves as Vice President of Indonesia-China Economic Social and Cultural Association. He used to be former president of Indonesia Chinese Chamber of Commerce. He has won the presidential medal of Indonesia and certificate of merit in 1977.
