Dean Qian Yingyi met with former Temasek Holdings CEO Ho Ching and Esquel Group Chairman Marjorie Yang on May 31. Both were visiting in their capacity as SEM Advisory Board members. Qian thanked Ho and Yang for their contributions to the school and brought them up-to-date on recent developments.

As a school that attracts the nation’s best and brightest, SEM has a responsibility to turn promising students into successful members of society, Qian said. He discussed the school’s commitment to education and an international perspective, as well as its ongoing efforts to promote reform and innovation. Both board members expressed a strong interest in SEM’s efforts to make students more competitive in the international arena, and emphasized the important role of international exchanges.
