Tsinghua SEM has opened the Seminar for Chinese Corporate CEOs on February 20, 2009. The seminar was jointly launched by Tsinghua SEM, China Federation of Industrial Economics and China Research Institute of Economics and Management. Participants of the seminar consist of 31 entrepreneurs from diverse industries.
“ I believe this class could bring your participants more information, more inspiration andimpetus; be confident and develop your company in a stable way, especially under the circumstances of global economic recession,” said Xu Kuangdi at the opening ceremony of the seminar, who’s Vice Chairman of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference,President of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of China Federation of Industrial Economics.
“This seminar could help strengthen the links between the School and corporations”, said He Jiankun, Vice Chairmen of the University Council of Tsinghua, “hope the experience of studying at this seminar could help participants respond to the current economic crisis properly, take right measures facing the crisis and search for their new opportunities. ”
The organizer said the curriculum provides participants essential contents on modern corporate management, especially focusing on four core capabilities that a modern corporate manager requires: strategic decision-making, HR planning, financial data analysis, marketing & negotiation. It hopes that the seminar will help participants enhance their capabilities to respond to the changing business environment and the current financial crisis.Each seminar runs for 7 months.
