192 EMBA students have completed their course requirements and received their degrees of Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) conferred by Tsinghua University on July 5, 2008. The 6th Tsinghua EMBA Graduation Forum was held on the day. The forum was attended by Professor Qian Yingyi, Dean of Tsinghua SEM, Professor Liao Li, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SEM in charge of EMBA program and faculty representatives from the School. Li Jian, Vice Minister of Civil Aviation Administration of China made a presentation at the commencement as representative of the EMBA graduates.

Saturday's forum was divided into three sessions by three topics including "sustainable growth of large-sized enterprise", "puzzles facing enterprises' development--from strategic perspectives" and "transformation and innovation of marketing".

The session of "sustainable growth of large-sized enterprise" was hosted by Professor Ning Xiangdong from the Department of Business Strategy and Policy. Panelists included Si Xianmin, President of China Southern Airlines; Liu Yi, President of Beijing Tourism Group; Xing Daoxin, Chairman of IRICO Group Electronics Company Limited. The session of "puzzles facing enterprises' development" was hosted by Professor Jin Zhanming who delivers the course of strategic management at the School. Panelists included Li Jinyong, Assistant to General Manager of Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting, CNPC (China National Petroleum Corporation); Ma Jingping,Vice President of ChinaCache Company; Jin Xin，Vice President of Beijing Digitone Telecom Technology Company Limited. The session of "transformation and innovation of marketing" was hosted by Professor Hu Zuohao from the Department of Marketing. Panelists included Li Bo, Vice president of Modern Group; Deng Xiaofeng, Director of the Advertising Center of Tianjin Daily Press Group; and Zhu Jianjun, Managing Director of Shanxi Tongda Group.

At the forum, the graduates of Class E，D，F of EMBA 2006 announced to donate RMB 500, 000 to launch a Tsinghua EMBA-06 EDF Scholarship program. The fund will be managed by Tsinghua Alumni Foundation, and used for assisting poor undergraduates from Sichuan Province at Tsinghua.
