A sudden earthquake shakes China again. Collapse of tens of thousands of building stirs hearts of billions of people. All Chinese, from center of Beijing to remote villages, from the sides of Pacific to Atlantic, focus their attention to Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province, in south west of China.
At this special moment, “we are Wenchuanese”. Among the volunteer workers at the quake-stricken areas are Tsinghua SEM alumni. 2002 MBA alumni Feng Ke, Yuan Huaming, Wu Xin, Yan Xudong, Hu Xiaobo, and Dai Dongrong, who currently work at Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, have joined the volunteer team delivering clothes, medicine, and tents which are badly needed in quake-hit areas by their own vehicles during May 14-16.
SEM alumni from MBA railway ministry class were busy at their working positions as Chineserailway system is facing high pressure due to the increase of transporting tasks and the destruction on railway facilities caused by the quake. The former monitor of the MBA class Lu Chunfang, who currently is the Vice-minister of Railway was detached to director the repair work at quake-damaged Baoji-Chengdu Railway.
MBA Center showed much concern to the Mayang Central Primary School of Yanting County, Sichuan Province, which is 200 km away from the epicentral area.
