The Copenhagen Business School Case Competition 2008 has closed on March 1, 2008. Tsinghua team, made up of four SEM senior students, Tang Tang, Yuan Shuai, Zhang Chuan, Ma Yuan went to the final round and won the second place in the competition which 12 undergraduate teams from world leading business schools participated in. The winner is Thammasat University, Thailand.
Assistant Professor Zhu Tao from Department of Management Science and Engineering, and Assistant Professor Wang Kun from Department of Accounting served as faculty advisors of Tsinghua SEM team. The delegation was headed by Assistant Professor Wang Kun.
Launched in 2002, the Copenhagen Business School Case Competition is an undergraduate competition for selected business schools worldwide, where the students' abilities to solve a realistic business challenge are in focus. Each year 12 teams are invited. The objectives of the Copenhagen Business School Case Competition are to strengthen internationalisation through the enhancement of student and faculty networks, and to serve as a means of inspiring innovation among business schools. Tsinghua SEM took part in the Copenhagen Business School Case Competition for the first time in 2006.
