Participants of Tsinghua SEM-NDRC Advanced Graduate Training Program for SME Business Management have completed all their courses and took part in the commencement on December 21, 2007. Leaders from China National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and Tsinghua SEM EDP (Executive Development Program) Center attended the ceremony.

Xue Lei, Director of the School'sEDPCenterexpressed his congratulations on participants' successful completion of their study, saying he hopes participants would apply what they learned at Tsinghua to their work and contributed to the development of small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SME) inChina.

Wang Jianxiang, Director of Department of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, NDRC said the Advanced Graduate Training Program was an important part of NDRC's efforts in promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises inChina; and the program had proved to be a success.

In the evening of the day, participants of the program held a charity gala. A total fund of RMB 258,888 was raised through donation auction. All the money will be donated to China Youth Development Foundation to support faculty resource development in rural areas.
