Tsinghua EMBA Program has announced the founding of its Alumni Association-Guizhou Branch onNovember 17, 2007. Dou Qiling, Chairman of the Board of Guizhou Yibai PharmacyCo., Ltd, alumna of Tsinghua EMBA-04 class was elected the first Chairman of the Association.The founding ceremony took place at Hua Xi,GuizhouProvince. Professor Liao Li, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SEM and Director of Tsinghua EMBA Program, Wu Xianghua, Deputy-director of Guizhou Provincial Department of Construction who's also Chair of Guizhou Tsinghua University Alumni Association attended the ceremony.

On the day,the Guizhou Alumni Association auctioned three fossils (private collection) and two pieces of calligraphy works donated byGuizhoualumni. Money raised from the auction was all donated to China Charity Federation to help children of impoverished regions in Guizhou Province continue their study.
