Tsinghua SEM on-campus job fair (fall semester) was held on December 6, 2007. Organized by SEM Career Development Center (CDC), Thursday’s job fair targeted at 2008 SEM graduates, with more than 50 companies providing 151 positions. Employers attending the fair included Chinatex Group, Postal Savings Bank of China, China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Center, Reuters Group, Calyon (Banque de l'Indochine), Agilent, Siemens, Emerson, Mercer Consulting, XinAo Group, CCB-Principal Asset Management Company, etc.. Most positions provided at fair were full-time jobs, with a few internship opportunities. Nearly 200 SEM students attended the job fair.

CDC usually organizes 1-2 on-campus job fairs respectively in spring and fall semesters annually. The fair held in spring semester mainly targets at students who accomplish their overseas exchange programs, MBA students comprising the majority; the fair held in fall semester is open to SEM graduates at all levels. Since the beginning of this semester in September, CDC has organized recruitment sessions for nearly 70 employers. Since 2007, CDC began to host on-campus job fair for summer internship and has received positive response from both recruiters and students.
