Nine student ambassadors from 06 International MBA Program were awarded in the Orientation commencement ceremony. They are: Charles Laporte Aust, Yuichi Imamura, Sabrina Wei Jung Chang, Eduardo Nieto Rio, Ying Wu, Elijah Degen, Hua Jiang, Wemyss James Strembeck, Yoon Seung Oh and Victor Tseng.Ms Mao Donghui, Executive Director of Tsinghua MBA Program attended the ceremony and awarded the student ambassadors.
James Wemyss, a student ambassador representative, gave a short speech, “to be a student ambassador is to represent the Tsinghua MBA program to the world. It means to inform prospective students about what it means to be an MBA student no only at Tsinghua, but also inChina. Through a successful Student Ambassador program, we can build on our goal to improve the global image ofTsinghuaUniversity’s International MBA program, while also attracting high caliber students.”
Tsinghua MBA Programs initiated its Student Ambassador Program (SAP) in 2006. SAP is launched to bridge current students with prospective students. With a large international student body, the IMBA program is gearing up for further internationalization as MBA applicants look to come toChinato pursue their business education. To meet the needs of prospective students and various other audiences, the school has initiated a SAP staffed by current MBA students.
