China-France Fashion & Luxury Management Salon was held at Tsinghua SEM onJuly 28, 2007. The event was co-organized by Tsinghua, Institut Fran?ais de la Mode (IFM), HEC-Paris, and sponsored by Fashion Magazine, Sohu.com. Professor Yang Bin, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SEM, Professor Li Fei, Executive Deputy Director ofChinaRetailResearchCenterand Chair of Department of Marketing of Tsinghua SEM, Professor and Jean-Marc de Leersnyder, Associate Dean ofSchoolofManagementof HEC-Paris attended activity and delivered speeches there. Saturday's salon was also attended by more than 100 professionals from fashion and luxury industry community.

Tsinghua SEM, IFM, and HEC-Paris have jointly developed an Advanced Management Program in Fashion and Luxury in 2006 and have graduated its first class of over 50 managers in March 2007. The program was the first of its kind inChina, and participants have spoken highly of the program.
