A 20- member delegation from MIT Center for Real Estate, led by Professor Tony Ciochetti , Chairman of the Center, visited Tsinghua SEM on June 6, 2007. The activity was hosted by Tsinghua MBA Real Estate Club, aiming to promote interactions and communications between two Schools on the field of real estate study.
Professor Li Daokui, Chair of Department of Finance, delivered a welcome address to the MIT visitors. And Associate Professor Wang Hong from Department of Finance delivered a lecture on the potential demand ofChina's real estate in the long run. Students and professors from the two schools held discussions later over hot topics on the real estate markets inChinaand theUnited States.
The MIT delegation also visited monumental sites of Tsinghua campus and learned about history of Tsinghua University during their stay.
