April 26th is the 109th anniversary of the founding of Tsinghua University.

In view of the COVID-19 epidemic, the university has decided to make the following arrangements:

1. The school calendar has not been adjusted. April 25th and 26th are still working days and no change has been arranged for it or the following International Workers' Day holiday.

2. The homecoming day event for alumni will be rescheduled to Sept 26th and 27th, when the 63rd Ma John Cup Students Track and Field Games, the "Tsinghua Challenge Cup" exhibition, cultural performances and other activities will be organized.

3. Celebrations around the anniversary will be held online, including a speech, good wishes from teachers, students and alumni, online forums mainly on academic topics, online performances and competitions attended by teachers, students and alumni, and digital tours of the campus including exhibitions of Tsinghua’s history museum and art museum.

4. Schools and departments can organize their own mainly online celebratory activities. Those with plans should bear in mind the universality’s anniversary event schedule.
