A farewell party for Tsinghua SEM exchange students was held at the H Bar and CaféonJune 14, 2007. The event was organized by International Affairs Committee of the MBA Student Association, and hosted by the International Office. For the 2007 spring semester, Tsinghua’s SEM hosted over 60 students from around the world with representation fromNorth America,Australia,EuropeandAsia.

Despite everyone’s busy end of semester schedule, a healthy mix of Tsinghua and exchange students came for a relaxing evening.In addition to the excellent food and drinks provided by the H Bar and Caféthe International Office presented the exchange a gift as a small token of appreciation for their active participation and contributions.

Many of the exchange students had a very rewarding experience at Tsinghua and were saddened to know that their time inChinawill be coming to a close; however, they plan on returning in the near future as theirChinaexperience has opened them to a breadth of experiences and possibilities.In addition to the booming economy and the rapid changes,Chinais a country steeped in history and culture that the exchange students found to be one of the highlights of their semester abroad inChina.

A big farewell to all the exchange students, and wish them every success in the future.
