Faculty and staff members of Tsinghua SEM gathered at the International Hall of Weilun Building onFebruary 2, 2007for the School's Review Conference on the Work of 2006, summarizing their work in the past year and outlining tasks of 2007.

Executive Vice-president of Tsinghua University He Jiankun addressed the conference, expressing thanks for the faculty and staff's contribution for school's development. Prof. He gave high praise on the achievements the School made in the past year on academic research, management, and internationalization, encouraging the whole staff to make further progress in 2007.

Prof. Qian Yingyi, Dean of SEM, summarized the school's work of 2006 in his speech. He said the School had made remarkable achievements in faculty resource development, academic-standards setting, adjustment of functional sectors, etc., adding that the School is facing opportunities as well as challenges in the new year. Prof. Qian called for more efforts to be made in 2007 on AACSB accreditation, talents cultivation, management improvement and school's internationalization process.

Associate Dean of SEM, Prof. Yang Bin and Executive Associate Dean Prof. Chen Guoqing also spoke at the conference. Meanwhile, part of the faculty and staff members were presented with awards for their excellence in teaching and management. Associate Dean of the School, Prof. Liao Li, unveiled the 2006 top ten news stories of Tsinghua SEM.
