The award ceremony of "Chinese Top 10 Talents (2006)" was held onFeb. 4, 2007at the Great Hall of the People with 100 elites from various industries inChinawinning the honor. The award ceremony was attended by Vice-chairman of National People's Congress Xu Jialu, Uyunqimg, Vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Sun Fuling, Abdul'ahat Abdulrixit, Zhou Tienong, and the former Defense Minister Gen. Chi Haotian.

The winners of "Chinese top 10 talents(2006)" include the Executive Deputy Chairman of the National MBA Education Supervisory Committee of China, Tsinghua SEM Professor Zhao Chunjun, prominent architect Wu Liangyong, first Secretary-General of Shanghai Corporation Organization Zhang Deguang, prominent artisits Qiao Yu, Huang Yongyu, President of Renmin University of China Ji Baocheng, Chairman of China National Offshore Oil Corparation Fu Chengyu, CEO of China Power International Development Limited Li Xiaolin, etc.

Launched in 2004, the “Chinese Top 10 Talents Series" has been a nationwide annual event jointly sponsored by the Committee for Education, Science, Culture, Public Health and Sports of CPPCC, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Chinese Enterprise Confederation, Peking University, and UNESCO. The 2006 event consists of 10 series of prizes which aims to award talents who made distinguished contributions in innovation, management, construction, technology, education, entrepreneurship, industry etc.
