On October 24, the Career Development Center（CDC） held Tsinghua SEM Enterprise Open Day activity in Shunde Building, during which student profiles and CDC’s human resource (HR) services were introduced. The theme of the day was “Global Vision, Local Roots”. HR persons from various fields such as finance, manufacturing and real estate took part in the activity.

CDC staff introduced in detail their HR services to the HR persons present. The introduction covered the history, motto and culture of Tsinghua University and Tsinghua SEM’s faculty composition, student composition, students’ job willingness, number and characteristics of 2007 graduates and the way of recruitment for interested businesses. CDC especially emphasized that personal development and long-term corporate development are valued most in students’ job choice.

After HR persons briefly talked with students, Xing Zhijie, on behalf of Year 2005 MBAs, introduced the training and experience of MBA students at Tsinghua SEM. In his view, it is the comprehensive knowledge structure, global vision, sense of responsibility, aggressive spirit and life-long alumni support that have contributed to the career development of Tsinghua SEM MBAs.

The activity ended with HR persons’ visit to the campus, guided by CDC staff and students.
