Tsinghua Liu Tianyou takes gold in Asian Games

Chinaclaimed the first gold medal of the 15^thAsian Games with victory in the men's 10m air rifle team event inDoha, capital ofQatar. On December 2, Liu Tianyou, an undergraduate of school of economics and management, Tsinghua University, together with his teammates Zhu Qinan, Li Jie, shot a total of 1,786 points in the competition. Later Liu tookgold again in the men's 10m Air Rifle individual.

TsinghuaUniversityhas sent a letter of congratulation to Liu Tianyou as well as the Chinese delegation inDoha, highly praising Liu’s brilliant performance in the games.
