On May 16, Tsinghua SEM awarded Huaxia Times Investment Corporation “Tsinghua MBA Entrepreneurship Base”. At the same time, Beijing Xingsheng Times Investment Corporation, invested by Huaxia Times and managed by several entrepreneurs from Tsinghua MBA Class 2004, is formally founded.

Professor Chen Zhangwu of Tsinghua SEM addressed during the ceremony. He said the establishment of this entrepreneurship practice base will offer a precious platform for Tsinghua MBA students to practice and exercise their entrepreneurship ideas. Tsinghua SEM has always been encouraging students to innovate and start their own businesses. And the school leadership wishes MBA students could well utilize this platform and try to create excellent business models in compliance with the fast-growing Chinese economy.

After Huaxia times was awarded the base, it will continue offering Tsinghua MBA students summer internship opportunities as well as financial and intellectual support to Tsinghua MBA’s entrepreneurship activities.
